About This Course

Miro turns ordinary presentation slides into an infinite, interactive canvas. Whether you teach online or face to face, it helps you run livelier sessions, keep participants engaged and improve what they remember.

This course takes you from first steps to confident facilitation. You’ll start by learning Miro’s core tools and how to bring your existing slides onto the canvas. You’ll then move on to its collaboration features: sharing and permissions, built-in video conferencing, and running meetings and breakout groups.

What you’ll learn:

By the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify Miro’s core features and how they support training, teaching and presenting
  • Bring your existing slide presentations into Miro and combine them with its interactive tools
  • Set up the best screen layout for participants in your sessions
  • Share boards and manage access and permissions
  • Use Miro’s video conferencing features
  • Plan meetings and breakout group sessions
  • Practise simulating participant interaction so you’re ready for live delivery

You’ll also get a presentation template to help you plan your own Miro sessions.

Why take this course?

Most trainers and educators learned to teach in a room, not on a screen, and online delivery calls for a different set of skills. I’ve been training and presenting for over 30 years, with the last decade spent specialising in remote teaching for some of the world’s largest EdTech companies. This course draws on that experience, and on the research, to give you a practical roadmap for engaging online sessions with Miro.

Who is it for?

  • Corporate trainers and L&D professionals
  • Higher education teaching staff
  • Secondary school teachers
